On Sunday 26 November, Courage to Care Volunteer Manager Lisa Lewis was invited to take part in a panel discussion organised by Child Survivors of the Holocaust Melbourne group. The event was held at the newly opened Melbourne Holocaust Museum and attended by child survivors and their families who heard from Dr Paul Valent as keynote speaker and panelists: Gary Fabian OAM, our own Lisa Lewis and Rabbi Gabi Kaltman who all shared their thoughts on antisemitism, a subject at the forefront of all our minds.
It was an extremely thought-provoking afternoon and whilst there were no definitive answers on potential new ways to address antisemitism the speakers certainly provided plenty to think about.
