At Courage to Care we LOVE our volunteers!

For more than 30 years, our passionate, dedicated and skilled volunteers have delivered Upstander Programs to more than 160,000 students across Victoria, educating the next generation about the dangers of racism, prejudice, discrimination and bystander behaviour.

We plan to reach more students than ever before and are looking to for new volunteers to join our team, visiting schools across Victoria and working with students to transform bystander behaviour into Upstander Action.

Are you a passionate advocate for social inclusion within your community, and believe that we all have the power to inspire positive change? If so, we’d love you to join us.

You don’t need to be a teacher to help create a generation of Upstanders – we welcome volunteers above 18 years of age from all backgrounds, ethnicities and religious beliefs, and ideally, you’ll be a natural, flexible communicator.

Detailed knowledge of the Holocaust is not a pre-requisite. All that’s required is a strong desire to create real change – and a commitment to educate and inspire students be Upstanders in their communities.

All volunteers receive training upfront, along with extensive ongoing guidance, mentoring and professional development throughout your volunteering journey.

Join our team of passionate and likeminded volunteers in a truly transformative volunteering experience, and make a difference whilst meeting like-minded changemakers at our many educational and social events.
