On Friday we had a wonderful opportunity to wrap up National Volunteer Week with a special event for our C2C volunteers.
No only did we get to get together with so many of our wonderful volunteers (in *real life* – still such a treat!), but we also got to hear from the passionate Kathy Kaplan OAM from Impact for Women who shared with us the incredible impact they are creating with their newest initiative ‘Bags of Love’.
We also had the pleasure of hearing from our own Survivor Speaker – the inspirational Peter Gaspar – who is always an outstanding example of the passion and difference that volunteers make to Courage to Care Vic, the students we talk to and our entire community.
Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who were able to attend, to Peter for sharing his amazing story and to Kathy Kaplan OAM – a true Upstander
