Did you know that Courage to Care Vic has more than 100 volunteers who regularly give their time to deliver our Upstander Programs into schools across VIC? We have even more volunteers who help with everything from marketing to admin, logistics & so much more.
To put it simply – we just could not do what we do without the ongoing commitment & generosity of our wonderful volunteers!
This week Australia celebrates the significant contribution of almost six million volunteers through National Volunteer Week (NVW) & honour the extraordinary contribution of volunteers nationally.
Each year, volunteers dedicate 600M+ hours to help others, our amazing Courage to Care volunteers included!
The theme for #NVW 2021 is Recognise – Reconnect – Reimagine
1. Recognise volunteers for the vital role they play in our lives
2. Reconnect to what is important by giving our time to help others
3. Reimagine how we can better support our volunteer community
