In May, 3 of our wonderful volunteers were honoured during National Volunteer Week by the Glen Eira Council for their extraordinary commitment to volunteering at Courage to Care. Barbara & Pearl were both acknowledged for over 10 years of service and Sigal for 2,000 hours. The theme for this year’s week of celebration is “Connecting Communities” and there is no doubt that our volunteers create lasting relationships that enrich lives and strengthen communities. Giving to others as Barbara, Pearl, Sigal and all our volunteers do fosters community engagement, connection and belonging.
