Recently Middle Park Lodge and Freemasons Foundation Victoria (FFV) agreed to donate $10,000 towards the delivery of the Courage to Care Upstander programs.

Courage to Care’s Upstander Program empowers students with practical tools to safely stand up and take action against racism, discrimination and bullying.

CEO of Courage to Care, Mike Zervos said “Regional schools have less access to educational programs but the issues of racism, discrimination and bullying are just as serious. Costs are higher for regional visits due to accommodation and transport. Even though it takes more time and money we are proud to focus on these students and are delighted to receive this support from Freemasons Victoria. In particular we would like to thank John and Bev Rosenberg for their support”

The combined donations from Middle Park Lodge ($5,000) and FFV ($5,000) will enable Courage to Care to reach even more Secondary school students across metropolitan and regional Victoria.

“We are delighted to support Courage to Care’s Upstander program. FFV is committed to contributing to a better Victoria and thanks to programs like this, students from across Victoria will learn about discrimination and become equipped with the tools to stand up to antisocial behaviours” said Neil Cripps Executive Officer of FFV.
