On Sunday 3 December we held our annual and much anticipated End of Year Volunteer Celebration.
Close to 80 volunteers enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with delicious food and shmoozing. This event is always an excellent opportunity for us to thank ALL our volunteers for their incredible commitment to their volunteering in the past year and to show them how much we value them. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We simply could not have the impact we do with our Upstander Programs without them.
We also awarded the Dr Tony Weldon Meritorious Service Awards for Volunteering to 3 long standing volunteers Peter Barta, Janice Huppert and Mark Kestin in recognition of their continuous and outstanding contributions over many years. Thank you to Peter, Janice, Mark and all our volunteers!
