At the recent 2020 Multicultural Awards for Excellence in Education Courage to Care was Highly Commended for inspiring students across Victoria. We are delighted to receive this recognition and it this follows a similar award received in 2013.
The Victorian Multicultural Awards for Excellence acknowledge the outstanding achievements of people, groups and organisations that foster cross-cultural understanding, build social cohesion and support people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to participate in all aspects of life.
Hosted by the Victorian Multicultural Commission, and featuring performer and speaker Diana Nguyen as MC, the ceremony included appearances from the Governor of Victoria the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, Premier of Victoria the Hon. Daniel Andrews MP, Minister for Multicultural Affairs the Hon. Ros Spence MP, Vivienne Nguyen, Chairperson of the Victorian Multicultural Commission and other distinguished award presenters.
