Long standing facilitator volunteer and Upstander, Lani Brayer has shared her thoughts in a recently published article “Australia, don’t fail me” on The Jewish Women of Words website.
Lani writes about how she is struggling to reconcile the Australia she grew up in with the one she lives in now.
“I am, for the first time in my sixty years on this earth, fifty-five of them living in Australia, feeling a sense of unease, an anxiety that being Jewish in this country is not what it used to be.”
