In the first half of 2026 we were proud to partner with the Victorian Student Representative Council (VicSRC) for their Regional Student Congress events. As part of this partnership, our Education Manager Karen Maclean delivered Teacher Professional Learning sessions and short sessions with students at events held in Morwell, Wangaratta, Geelong and Swan Hill. We were honoured to play a small role in supporting the important work VicSRC is doing to amplify student voice and advocate for positive change in education.
During the Congress events, students worked together to identify and discuss challenges within the education system, sharing ideas and lived experiences. Five key themes emerged from these conversations:
