From 7-9 July Courage to Care exhibited at the Teach For Australia Conference. This is a very significant event for educators. The conference was held at the Australian Catholic University, Melbourne and the theme was “Reclaiming the teaching profession: research-informed practice for equity and justice.” Focus areas were teacher and school leader recruitment and retention, governmental intervention in teacher education, teacher knowledge in colonized contexts, resourcing for teacher professional learning, and teacher and school leader wellbeing
Our Education Manager Karen Maclean and Operations Manager Debra van der Zee promoted our Upstander education programs to teachers. There was a great vibe in the room and the teachers who are educating our next generations were very impressive.
