A big congratulations to our Volunteer Harry Kamien who recently received his volunteering award at the 2025 Caulfield Volunteer Awards. Harry was judged outright winner of the Spiritual Engagement Category. Harry won $1,000 for Courage to Care and a free promo video which we will be able to use to promote volunteering.
We are so proud, and it is a privilege to work with Harry. His passion and commitment to our mission and purpose as well as his bravery in telling his mother’s story as Custodian Speaker in our programs is inspiring. Harry also is a wise member of our Survivor & Volunteer Subcommittee and an active recruiter of new volunteers.
It is clear that Harry is held in wonderful esteem not only by us but by his loving immediate and extended family and special friends who were there to cheer him on.
Congratulations to our volunteer Kay Ronec as well who received a volunteer appreciation certificate for her nomination by the Jewish Museum of Australia.
How lucky we are to have both Harry & Kay as volunteers!
