In 2022 Courage to Care will celebrate 30 years of providing Upstander education to students across Victoria, and we are marking this milestone with a very special two-week event – we’d love you to join us.

We are so proud of all we have achieved over the last 30 years, educating more than 150,000 students about the dangers of racism and discrimination, and inspiring and educating them to be Upstanders in their schools and communities.

Courage to Care turns 30 is a very special two-week event celebrating all we have achieved over the last 30 years and the contributions of our amazing volunteers and committed  supporters, creating a wonderful opportunity for us to engage with  the wider community to spread the Upstander message far and wide.

30 years on, our message is needed now more than ever.

Join us as we look to the future and create communities free from racism, discrimination and prejudice, where we can all be Upstanders.

Save the date: Monday 23 May – Friday 3 June 2022

Our interactive exhibition will be on display, using lessons from history to demonstrate how families, communities, diplomats and individuals can all stand up to discrimination and be Upstanders.

Guided tours will be hosted by our knowledgeable and experienced volunteers, as well as a full schedule of events welcoming and engaging a diverse range of stakeholders and the broader community.

Proudly hosted by The Ark Centre in Hawthorn East, Rabbi Gabi Kaltmann recently met with our CEO Mike Zervos to discuss opportunities for collaboration, inclusivity and creating an impactful event that is welcoming to all members of the community.

More to come!
