Courage to Care delivers free educational Upstander Programs to primary and secondary schools across Victoria, helping students recognise discrimination and respond with confidence, empathy and action.
Students learn practical skills to be Upstanders — people who choose to act when they witness discrimination or injustice, rather than remaining silent as ‘bystanders’.
Delivered in person, our interactive workshops are led by trained volunteer facilitators and feature powerful personal testimonies from Holocaust Survivor Speakers, or custodians of their stories. These lived experiences bring history to life and highlight the real-world impact of individual choices and actions.
