Recently, over 40 volunteers gathered at our September Volunteer Morning Tea to hear young Upstander Ramona Chrapot speak about her experiences standing up to hate online.
Ramona graduated as the School Captain from Mount Scopus in 2020. After completing her studies at Mount Scopus, Ramona spent a year in Israel engaging in a Leadership Program as well as volunteering.
Currently, Ramona is enrolled in a Bachelor of Law and Arts program at Monash University and is interning at Sky News. Driven by her passion for Judaism and Zionism, Ramona established and manages the social media account @_didjewknow.
Ramona also told us us about her experience at the coal face as a Jewish university student in these unprecedented times on campuses across Australia.
