Congratulations to our wonderful volunteer Margaret who recently received a Local Hero Award at the Caulfield Volunteer Awards 2024. Margaret received the award for recognition for all the work she does for the community. The evening is all about celebrating the wonderful people in our community that devote their time to helping others. Margaret is a prime example of this in her volunteering role at Courage to Care where she bravely tells the story of survival of her late mother during the Holocaust. School students across Victoria are lucky to hear this incredible story about individuals who chose to be Upstanders and make a difference to someone elses life. Through her volunteering Margaret plays a key role in helping us create a generation of Upstanders.
