Danielle Blumberg, Education Manager

Danielle is responsible for the development and delivery of education programs. With almost 20 years’ experience working in the independent education sector in Sydney, she is a passionate educator with expertise in gifted education, student wellbeing and leadership. Most recently Danielle was the Head of Junior School at Masada College for three years. Born and educated in Sydney, she has volunteered within the Jewish community in a variety of roles. She relishes the challenge of encouraging our youth to be “kind on purpose” by being Upstanders in their daily lives.

Ariella Symons, Operations Manager – Education Programs

Ariella is responsible for coordinating and supporting the effective delivery of C2C Classroom Programs in NSW. Ariella has a background in mental health nursing with a focus on children, and has worked in a busy, major metropolitan hospital. She has also worked in learning supported education, having spent two years at Moriah College. Ariella has two young children (and a puppy!) and has recently returned to living in Melbourne. At Courage to Care, Ariella has put her communication and organisational skills to good use and liaises with teachers, volunteers and staff daily.

Louise Jaque, Administrative Officer

Louise keeps the Courage to Care office running! Before taking time out to raise her two young children, Louise was Event Manager at the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce for 7 years, responsible for running 50 events per year. Prior to this, Louise was employed in various organisations as Event Manager. Louise brings a wealth of organisational and event management experience to Courage to Care.

Monty Callaghan, Exhibitions Curator

Monty is responsible for the curation and coordination of Courage to Care’s traveling exhibition program. With a professional background in exhibition design and installation, Monty also works independently as an artist and sound producer and holds a degree in Political Science and Economics. Only half-jokingly referred to as Courage to Care’s ‘utility player’, Monty also applies skills in communications and technology to assist with Courage to Care events, fundraising efforts, and projects.
